Letter to the Editor by, William Ganong, Klamath Falls
It is not surprising that to Representative Eric Werner Reschke the Klamath County Museums are just good museums. Representative Werner was born in California and raised, educated, and worked most of his life in the Portland/Willamette Valley area. It wasn’t until he started his political career that he moved to Klamath County. He has no roots in Klamath County, no appreciation of the true value of our museums.
Letter to the Editor by, Klamath County Museum Supporters PAC
Rep. E. Werner Reschke has come out against the proposed tax levy for the Klamath County Museum, which includes a small increase to fund museum operations.
Letter to the Editor by, Stefani Ritter
Congress has a lot of work to complete before the end of the year. That must include reinstatement of an expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC).
Letter to the Editor by, Cec Amuchastegui, Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Our family has strong ties in the Klamath Basin and want the future of this community to be brighter and stronger than ever. That is why I’m voting for Dave Henslee for Klamath County Commissioner.
Letter to the Editor by, Kate Murphey, Klamath Falls
I had the opportunity to sit in on the two Park Advisory Board meetings dealing with the issue of renaming Kit Carson Park. The members of the Advisory Board serve as volunteers and I suspect they never anticipated being put in the middle of a difficult political situation. However, the members did accept this assignment.
Letter to the Editor by, Davide Wiese
Every day, numerous drivers use side roads, like Hope St, Ivory St, and others to cut south from Shasta to South 6th. Many of these people drive at excessive speeds. These are residential neighborhoods with small children riding bikes, scooters, etc.
We are delighted to write this letter in support of Jon Hobbs for the Klamath County School Board Zone 3 position. We have been “across-the-river” neighbors of Jon and Lauren since they purchased a run-down neglected property 23 years ago and began turning it into the beautiful thriving farm (“Poe”tential Egg Farm) it is today. They have provided first jobs for many local students who have...
Letter to the Editor by, Ted Abram, Klamath Falls.
Having known and worked with Jon Hobbs for over twenty years, I strongly support Jon for Klamath County School Board, Zone 3.

South Suburban Sanitary District needs the leadership and experience of Michael Koger and Kevin Harter to find positive solutions that benefit the entire Klamath Basin.
Letter to the Editor by, Elizabeth Hubbard. Bonanza, Ore.
I would like to encourage you to vote for Deb Rodgers for Klamath Falls City School Board Zone 7. Debbie is a lifetime resident of Klamath County, attended school here, and raised her daughters in Klamath so she knows the community.
Letter to the Editor by, Laura Campos of Klamath Falls
A leadership change is needed at the South Suburban Sanitary District! Kevin Harter and Michael Koger are two hard working individuals who will make a positive change for the SSSD.
Letter to the Editor by, Tina McAllister, Klamath Falls
Friends and neighbors, I live on Hope street near Wiard park and am frustrated with the speed many go on this street. This street is posted 25MPH however many people drive much faster.
Letter to the Editor by, Robert Crebbin
I'm sure encouraged by our commissioners, and legislators that represent us and protect us from Salem and the Feds that have committed us to ruin in this panicdemic. I'm predicting that after the riots, anarchy, murders, arson, and economic destruction caused by our progressive overlords is finally done, the cure will have destroyed from more lives than the disease.
Letter to the Editor by, Valerie Lenardson, Chair, Klamath County Democrats
I was shocked when I saw there was a COVID protest at the Klamath County Fairgrounds last week, and when I read two county commissioners attended the event and participated in not wearing masks or adhering to 6 feet social distancing. The actions of two non-partisan elected officials was confusing to say the least.
Letter to the Editor by, Lisa Stringer, Klamath Falls
The South Suburban Sanitary District spent the last year trying to divide this town. They put their patrons up against the Rollinghills/Reeder Road and the North Poe Valley communities because it was imperative that the Rollinghills/Reeder Road & North Poe Valley communities sacrifice their land, their homes, their health, and their way of...
Letter to the Editor by, Dave Hill (Merrill, Oregon)
It is unbelievable to me what we are seeing and hearing about our cities, our state, and our entire country. What started out as a peaceful demonstration has evolved into riots, looting, arson, and governors who support anarchy (i.e Seattle Mayor!! 90+ days of riot and arson in Portland).
Letter to the Editor by Brandon Fowler, Chiloquin
I wish to respond to the recent letter where Candidate for Sheriff Daren Krag, through one of his campaign surrogates Stuart Nelson, has taken aim at my family and I. This letter was a completely false representation of how I was hired, my qualifications, as well as the process for my six-month review. Last summer the position of

Kaber has asked for another exception to policy for a friend or family member, which prompted me to do a little bit of my own research.
Letter to the Editor by, Terry Wells, Reeder Rd, Klamath Falls
We are fighting for our lives! SSSD proposes to spray irrigate Class D level treated sewage water to within 100 feet of our homes. Class D level treated water is one step above raw sewage. It still has chunks of sewage that will pass a 3/8 inch screen, along with pharmaceuticals, heavy metals, chemicals and nutrients of raw sewage. Why is SSSD proposing to put our health and property values in such peril? So they can save money at our expense.
Letter to the Editor by, Lisa Stringer
There are many reasons why my neighbors and I are in opposition to the South Suburban Sanitary District’s (SSSD) proposal. The main concern for many of us isn’t even addressed in the news articles, or other media outlets.
Letter to the Editor by, Travis and Lisa Stringer
The South Suburban Sanitary District’s (SSSD) motto states that they are “Protecting Tomorrow’s Environment!”; however, currently, they are proposing to store and use Class D sewage to irrigate farm lands around residents living off of Reeder Road, Short Road, Highway 39, and Highway 140. Thus, negatively impacting the quality of our wells, soil, health, daily life, and property values.
Thanks to the many generous local sponsors and donors, Youth Rising was able to successfully raise funds for Klamath County students on November 14, 2019. The special fundraising performance of “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” by the Linkville Players was a great success, and raised funds for the Youth Rising Drop-In Center, which provides a safe after school space for youth and teens 11-18 years.
Letter to the Editor by, Ben DuVal. Farmers and ranchers who care about power costs for irrigation should attend the public meeting at Klamath Community College on Tuesday, September 10, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Letter to the Editor by, Valerie Lenardson, Klamath Falls, Ore.
I recently canvassed for the ‘Get Out the Vote’ in the Mills district and was appalled by some of the living conditions that I found people living in. I found sidewalks in much of the area to be neglected and dangerous. Many of the homes I attempted to call on were not safe to go up the steps to the front door and therefore I had to mark the home as ‘inaccessible’.

Reading Reschke’s op-ed piece, left me speechless. He states that legalizing retail locations in KFalls will increase the use of marijuana. He has absolutely no proof of this statement. I am not a user of marijuana, but I want the ‘choice’. He blames the current rate decline of graduation on …
