Commissioner Boyd motions. Commissioner Morris seconds. Commissioner Boyd thanked Mr. Banks for trying to find other people to bid on the services. He said you can't force people to bid, but thank you for trying. Unanimous vote. Approved.
    2. In The Matter Of Approval And Signature Of The Agreement Between Klamath County, Acting By And Through Community Corrections With The Klamath Crisis Center/Marta's House For Services To Victims In Klamath County As Outlined In The Crimina Justice Commission's (CJC) Justice Reinvestment Grant. Kiki Parker-Rose Aaron Hartman addresses the Board. Commissioner Boyd motions. Commissioner Morris seconds. Unanimous vote. Approved.
    3. Approval Of Amendment #4 Of The Intergovernmental Agreement Between The State Of Oregon Acting By And Throught Its Department Of Consumer Business, Building Codes Division (DCBS); And Klamath County Community Development Building Division. - Kevin Roth, CDD/Building Kevin Roth addresses the Board. Commissioner Boyd motions. Commissioner Morris seconds. Commissioner Boyd commented that we always like to help our neighboring counties but it is exciting that Klamath County is growing and things in our Buidling Department are picking and we just don't have the time to go over the hill and help with inspections. Commissioner DeGroot thanked Mr. Roth for being proactive and recognizing there is a away to curb problem with getting inspections done in a timely matter here in Klamath. Unanimous vote. Approved.

    1. Prior Approved - In The Matter Of Approving A Recommendation For A New Liquor License For Fast Break Homedale Market. - BOCC Commissioner Morris reads information.

    1. In The Matter Of Approving The Purchase Of A Dump Trailer With Grant Funds For The Wolf Depredation Advisory Committee. - BOCC Lani Hickey addresses the Board. Commissioner Boyd motions. Commissioner seconds. Unanimous vote. Approved.

  12. Commissioner Reports
    Commissioner DeGroot - Commented on not having many people come for public comment. He said he spoke with someone who said the Commissioners are so reachable that people just come and see them when they need to instead of waiting for public comment period.
    Commissioner Boyd - He wished everyone a happy new year and is looking forward to 2018. He said he was humbled by the article Stephen Floyd wrote. He was honored, he had no idea it was coming and said he felt like they were just doing their jobs. He said if we didn't have a great staff behind us, it wouldn't have allowed us to do things we got accomplished in 2017. He thanked all employees of Klamath County and the citizens for electing them.
    Commissioner Morris - said she was surprised and appreciated the recognition by the Herald and News. She met with Dr. Naganathan to strategize how we can continue to bolster what we're doing in cyber security, with the cyber defense center which is very exciting and will provide some opportunity here in Klamath, and combining our friends out at Kingsley. She wished everyone a happy new year.
    Commissioner DeGroot - said he echoed the thanks for the article, it was very special, humbling and unexpected. He said, like Commissioner Boyd said, we sit up here but there are alot of employees in Klamath County that make it possible for us to affect change and being willing to work with us in getting those things done. He thanked his colleagues for allowing him to Chair for the next year. He thanked Commissioner Morris for being such a great example running meetings. He wished everyone a happy new year.
