Chocolate Walk for Charity

Chocolate Walk for Charity (Brian Gailey)

Downtown Klamath Falls has played host to the first annual Chocolate Walk to benefit the Klamath Basin Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Tickets were $10 per person, with all the proceeds helping the DAV organization.

Attendees were given a map to 26 participating business where they stop in and collect chocolate, shop and mingle. Business purchased and handed out their own chocolate, allowing the DAV to keep even more money on the fundraiser.

Modeled after a similar event in Pennsylvania, the Chocolate Walk has sold over 200 tickets. The event was held November 25th from Noon to 4:00 PM, in Downtown Klamath Falls.
