Fink Named Conference Player of the Week

LA GRANDE, Ore. – Oregon Tech's Mitchell Fink has been named the Cascade Conference Red Lion men's basketball Player of the Week
 
Fink, a sophomore point guard from Clackamas, Ore., netted 25 of his game high 30 points in the second half leading the Owls to the come-from-behind 84-71 win at Simpson University Saturday night. OIT improved to 39-0 all-time against the Red Hawks with the win. Fink added a game high of 7-assists and was 5-of-9 from behind the three-point arc.
 
Fink leads the CCC in scoring and assists so far this season, he has scored 241 points with 97 assists in 12 games played.  His 8.08 assist per game average is also third in the entire NAIA.
 
Oregon Tech will jump back to Cascade Conference play next weekend playing at Evergreen State on Friday in Olympia, Wash. and at Northwest University on Saturday in Kirkland, Wash. The games can be heard live in the Klamath Basin on 92-5 KLAD-FM and anywhere in the World at www.OregonTechOwls.com.
