The Ross Ragland Theater is pleased to announce that Terra Russo has joined their team as the Director of Development and Marketing.
In her new position, she is responsible for fund development and marketing. “Her role is strategic to the Ragland’s success in achieving its mission of providing premiere performing arts experiences and robust education and outreach programs to our community,” affirmed Theresa Silver, Executive Director.
“I was over the moon as a child when my parents brought me to events at the Ragland,” Ms. Russo recalled. “Attending summer theater camps was very exciting for me and other children to discover the intrigue of acting on the stage. Children love to pretend! As a teen, I recall the thrill of competing in the Junior Miss pageant.”
Ms. Russo’s background in film, television, marketing and fundraising makes her ripe for this role. “The Ragland is a good fit for me because I am passionate about exposing as many people as possible to a wide variety of performing arts live here in the center of our very own downtown,” she added.
Ms. Russo is originally from Klamath Falls and a graduate of Henley High School. Ms. Russo moved back to Klamath Falls two years ago after spending 15 years in Los Angeles, CA.
“People can expect us to continue to expand programming, attract new audiences who have not yet discovered the Ragland and make improvements to the facility all of which contribute to the downtown economy,” confirmed Ms. Silver. “The arts stimulate us, illuminate our inner lives and our relationships, and enrich our emotional world. This is what we cherish at the Ragland.”
