Portland, Ore. – A team of Oregon Institute of Technology, “Oregon Tech,” students won big this weekend at the InventOR Collegiate Challenge. The grand prize winners are The Reclaimers, a team of Oregon Tech students made up of Renewable Energy Engineering and Electrical Engineering senior Annika Andersen of Baker City, Oregon, and recent graduates of Mechanical Engineering, Ashlei Morgan of Meridian, Idaho, and Jessica Arrington of Paisley, Oregon.

Catalyze crowns top teams, awards seed money

Klamath Falls, Ore. - Innovative, highly technical and eager student entrepreneurs at the Oregon Tech came together Thursday, April 25, to compete for seed money to turn their product ideas and prototypes into real businesses.

The competition is open to recent alumni and all students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in a number of different engineering, technology, health care or business programs at the public polytechnic university.
