Cougar Sightings Near Moore Park and Lynnewood

"The City of Klamath Falls has been made aware by citizen reports and in discussions with Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife that there has been a confirmed cougar sighting in the upper Moore Park/Lynnewood neighborhood.

Please use caution when using upper Moore Park trail systems until the animal has been caught. ODF&W is in the process of setting traps and working toward mitigating the problem. If you see or come into contact with a cougar, please call 911 and/or the ODF&W immediately at (541) 883-5732
