Read MoreCross town and conference rivals, Henley and Mazama were victorious tonight in their match ups. #4 Mazama hosted #13 South Umpqua and won a defensive struggle in the snow. Shutting out the Lancers, 12-0. #12 Henley traveled to #5 Seaside and won a shoot out with a 99 yard drive. Securing a 43-39 victory.
Mazama will now host Henley in a second round playoff match-up on November 10th at Viking Field. Mark your calendars now. The road to the championship game runs through Klamath Falls!

4A Play In Game - Junction City at Henley
At the beginning of the night the Skyline had a 3-way tie for first place. By the end of the night, there was still a 3-way tie for first place, as all thee teams won their games.
However, the Mazama Vikings ultimately come out on top as 4 time conference champions. As they had beaten the Phoenix Pirates on the road earlier this season. Phoenix takes second as they had beaten Henley at home earlier this season.

Both teams started the game of slowly but KU led at half and Mazama found its self trailing at home 12-6.
Halftime featured the annual Homecoming Ceremony and a performance of Thriller by the Mazama Marching Band.

Klamath Falls, Ore. - The Henley Hornets came across town to tackle the Klamath Union Pelicans for a 4A Skyline Conference showdown at Modoc Field.
The Hornets opened the game with a solid drive for a touchdown and two-point conversion. The Hornets then surprised the Pelicans with an onside kick and recovery. Henley took advantage of the recovery and scored another TD.
Henley never looked back. Winning over the conference rival 58-13.
Next week, Klamath Union travels to Mazama for the annual Canal Bowl, while Henley travels over the hill to North Valley.
