Public Works Projects: October 16-20, 2017

Public Works crews will be performing work (weather permitting) on October 16 through October 20, 2017 as follows:


Asphalt crews will be performing utility cut repairs and minor street repairs within the City and County Roadways that will include:

  • Dig out repair at 7th and Main St.
  • Manhole patching on Calhoun. 
  • Crews will also be prepping for winter operations.

Klamath Falls Crews Work on Several Projects this Week

Street Division Crews will be performing work during the hours of 4:00 AM through 4:30 PM (weather permitting) on Monday September 18, 2017 through Friday September 22, 2017 as follows:


Monday, September 18th
• Asphalt patching cracks and potholes Calhoun St.

Tuesday, September 19th
• Asphalt Overlay prep on Oak St near Adams
• Washington St Bridge Testing (OIT) - Street Division crews and students fro OIT Civil Engineering class will be setting up a work zone on the Washington St. Bridge. September 19, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a Bridge Testing Study.

Wednesday, September 20th
• Utility cuts, asphalt repair Spring St near Modoc Field

Thursday, September 21st
• Utility cuts South Suburbs



• Tuesday Sept 19th - Friday Sept 22nd, 4:00 AM to 6:30 AM Parking legends downtown core

• Tuesday Sept 19th - Friday Sept 22nd, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Oregon Ave, Lynnewood legends and crosswalks Biehn St to CLP



Water Division Crews will be in the Moyina area installing water valves and fire hydrants for most of the week. Crews and equipment will be in the roadway while performing this maintenance work. Please proceed with caution

Tuesday, September 19th crews will be changing out fire hydrants at St. Francis and Oregon Ave and Oregon Ave and Delta.

Saturday, September 23rd, crews will be changing a hydrant at Lakeview and Oregon Ave.



Pelican City Water Main - This project is anticipated to be complete within the next few weeks with paving operations and final project closeout. Motorists should expect minimal traffic delays.

Etna Street Water Main Project - Water main replacement project on Etna St between Shasta Way and Angle St. Construction crews and equipment are working in the roadway. Motorists should expect intermittent traffic impacts.
