Yotes Take Down Owls
/CALDWELL, Idaho - Marija Djonovic the College of Idaho with 33 assists and 11 kills tonight as the Yotes swept Oregon Tech at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center. With the win, the CoI move to 17-3 on the season with a 9-3 conference record and the Owls slip to 4-8 in the CCC and 6-11 overall with the loss.
Chase Bohman paced the Owls with 12 kills with Bailey Nelson adding 9 kills and Cheyanne Laber chipping in 7-kills.
The first set was the tightest for the Owls and the Yotes. They were almost even in kills and errors, but Oregon Tech held the edge in attack percentage with .233 compared to College of Idaho's .224. The largest lead of the set belonged to Oregon Tech when they led 7-4 after a six-point run. A Chloe Lampman kill and Kilee Lopez ace brought the Yotes back into it, and the score stayed within two points for the remainder of the set. The Yotes won 25-23.
