Final preparations are underway for the 67th Annual Tulelake Butte Valley Fair. Vendors are setting up, the carnival is under construction, animals are arriving, and judging inside the Home Economics building is underway.
For many the Tulelake Butte Valley Fair is celebrated and marks the unofficial end of summer. Harvest is underway, kids are back in school, vacations are over, and Labor Day has come and gone and the TBV Fair is here.
The TBV Fair continues with free admission again this year but does give guests the opportunity to help support the fair by offering “Pay What you Can.” Suggested daily donations are Adult $3-5, Child $1-3, Family, $7-20.
Nightly headlining events in the Grandstands include:
- Thursday at 7:00pm - Dave Stamey Concert.
- Friday at 8:00pm - Fortunate Son Concert
Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute Band
- Saturday at 7:00pm - Demolition Derby
- Sunday at 4:00pm - 4x4 Truck Power Pull.

As per tradition a parade down Main Street Tulelake will begin at noon on Saturday. Grand Marshal for this year’s parade is Cindy Wright. Wright will be honored during the fair parade in recognition of her 37-year tenure at the Tulelake Butte Valley Fair and her service to the community.
