Abraham “Abe” Ramos Jr.   55,  of Klamath Falls, Oregon passed away peacefully at Asante Rogue Medical Center in Medford, Oregon from prostate cancer with the love of his life Machel Ramirez by his side on Wednesday December 5, 2018.

Abe was the first born son born of two to Abraham Ramos and Carmen Maldonado on Monday August 19, 1963 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Abe grew up in West New York, New Jersey where he attended and graduated from Memorial High School.

In September of 1986 Abe moved to Eugene Oregon and married his First wife Pam Marker in Eugene Oregon and had three sons together before they parted ten years later in January of 1997. Abe moved to Klamath Falls in 1998 and worked for Ram Trucking out of Brownsville, Oregon and drove a truck for more than 36 years.

Abe met the love of his life Miss Machel Ramirez in Klamath Falls, Oregon through her mom Twila who owned the Klamath Flower Shop. Twila set the two love birds on their first date at Denny’s in 2008 where they enjoyed coffee and pie together. Somehow, Abe knew from that moment on that he would spend the rest of his life with her. That is exactly what he did. They only got to share ten amazing years together as Abe left way too soon leaving Machel and his family with cherished memories and broken hearts. Abe was an all-around good man and a very unique individual. May you rest in peace Abe. We all love and miss you so very much.

Abe was a dedicated flatbed driver and loved his job, but missed being home and always made sure he was home with his wife Machel every weekend no matter what the circumstances may have been. Abe loved to go shopping, camping, fishing, fly fishing, arrowhead hunting, going to yard sales, remodeling their home, he also collected Santa Claus’s, but what he absolutely loved the most was to barbecue for the family and loved being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Abe didn’t have grandchild from his sons, but loved the four that he shared with Machel and the thing he loved the most was that he shared a birthday with the youngest.

“Big Papa we love you and miss you so much”

Abe was loved by many and he will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and trucker driver friends.
