James H. “Jimbo“ Cantrell left all of his loved ones way too soon!
Jim passed in the wee hours of March 1, 2019, at the age of 82. Jim resided in Klamath Falls since the middle of 2014.
As a young man, Jim served his great country on an eight-year enlistment with the United States Navy where he served as a Flight Deck Crewman for all of the inbound and outbound flights on Aircraft Carrier USS Shangri-La and among other Aircraft Carriers prior to Viet Nam.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Pat Cantrell; his only son Brian James Cantrell; Daughters, Kimberly Ann Hanks and Mary Pat Kasravi including his grandchildren, Zachary W. Kunkel, Trent J. Hanks, Travis J. Hanks, Noah A. Cantrell, and Sadie B. Cantrell.
Jim will be sorely missed by each of us. Jim’s true passion and the most important thing in Jim’s life was his family. “Aloha Nui Loa” to a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
