The advertisement appears in two locations on the home page: just below the navigation and above the footer. This ad is exclusive to one advertiser at a time on the home page and another advertiser on all other pages.

Skyscraper Advertisement

Skyscraper Example.

This is a vertical rotating clickable advertisement located in two places on the site. One set on the home page and another set along the news articles. On the homepage, the ads are placed next to the Featured News section. On the news articles they appear just to the right. Both are prime locations for advertising on KlamathFallsNews.org.  Each skyscraper section is limited to five advertisers at a given time.

2021 Saw the wildest fire season yet. With one of the nation’s largest fires right in our backyard. Easily the most viewed news coverage by KFN, Cascade Firewatch provides regional wildfire coverage from Bend to Redding, the Coast to the Alvord - Cascade Firewatch has it covered.

Seventeen of the top-20 most popular KSN articles in 2021 were wildfire-related.

Fire coverage runs through the 2022 fire season as determined by the Oregon Department of Forestry and associated agencies. Fire season typically runs from Early June to mid-October.

Weather Advisories

Summer (April - September)
This item includes summer weather alerts & advisories for the spring and summer months (frost, excessive heat, red flag, severe thunderstorm, flash flood, severe weather, etc.). These updates and advisories are published to our website and Facebook. Includes, Weather Category Advertising.
Season: April 1 - September 30.

Winter (October - March)
This item includes winter weather alerts & advisories for the fall and winter months (severe thunderstorms, flash floods, severe weather, winter storm warning/watch, etc.). These updates and advisories are published on our website and Facebook. Includes, Local Weather Advertising.
The season runs from October 1 - March 31.

Wood Burning Advisory

With this seasonal sponsorship from September 15 to March 15, your logo will be tied with the answer. Your business will be showcased in an oversized skyscraper on the Burn Advisory page. In addition to the Burn Advisory page, KFN will publish a graphical post to Facebook, each morning when the advisory is either Yellow or Red. Your logo will be included in that graphic and mentioned and/or tagged in the text of the post.

Weather Camera Network Sponsorship

KFN has developed the KFN Weather Camera Network, showcasing over 200 local and regional weather cameras – inclusively on one webpage. The listed cameras are categorized by regions – Central Oregon, Central Oregon Cascades, Northern Oregon Cascades, Shasta Cascades California, South Central Oregon, Southeast Oregon, Cascades/Siskiyous, Southwest Oregon, and the Wild Rivers Coast. 

Historically, this is the number two visited page on KlamathFallsNews.org. Second only to the home page.

This sponsorship includes a leaderboard-sized ad in between each of the categories. This clickable advertisement can direct traffic to your website, event, or sale. Also included are tags and mentions whenever the Weather Camera Network is published on social media.

Air Quality Sponsorship

Air quality can be an issue any day of the year. In summer, Air Quality is affected by wildfire smoke carried by wind currents. In winter, Air Quality is affected by wood-burning stoves that often trap wood smoke in an inversion layer over the Klamath Basin. Either way people want to know how good or bad the air quality is often outdoor events is allowable based solely on the Air Quality. Users can get that answer and more on our Air Quality page. Your sponsorship will include an oversized skyscraper advertisement on the right side of the page.
