The Klamath Falls Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, September 25th, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the City Administration Building, 500 Klamath Avenue, Klamath Falls, Oregon, to consider the following item(s):

Recommendation to City Council for the Consideration and Adoption of the Spring Street Urban Renewal Plan (Plan). The Planning Commission will review the conformance of the Plan with the Klamath Falls Comprehensive Plan and its stated goals. The Plan is designed for the Spring Street Urban Renewal Area (Area), a 163 acre area that includes prime underdeveloped industrial and general commercial properties adjacent to downtown. The reason for pursuing urban renewal is to provide a financing mechanism to fund improvements, including public-private development participation and needed infrastructure to allow for the redevelopment of the Area.

All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments. Disabled persons desiring information may call the City’s TDD line at 883-5324. For more information, contact Management Assistant to the City Manager Joe Wall at 883-5272.
