Paperback Writer Brings Beatle Mania to Klamath Falls

Klamath Falls, Ore. – Get a ticket to ride a trip down memory lane (or is that Penny Lane?) when Paperback Writer: The Beatles Experience comes to the Ross Ragland Theater Saturday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Paperback Writer - The Beatles Experience takes its audience on a trip through the musical years of the world’s most popular rock group! The four piece band will play hits that range from the famous Ed Sullivan Show appearances through the colorful Sgt. Pepper’s years and on to “Let it Be” all while donning authentic and memorable costumes.

Paperback Writer has been heralded by critics for their "spot on vocal, look and sound alike ability.” This show has been featured at Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure park. In addition, the quartet has dazzled audiences around the world performing fairs, casinos, theaters and cruise ships.

“We have had Beatles tributes before,” says RRT interim director, Mark McCrary, “But I think people will find that this one is really something special.”

In addition to being the second show of the new season for the Ross Ragland Theater, Paperback Writer joins the Arts on the Flyway lineup alongside 8 musical acts that will happen during the festival and performances of Distracted at the Linkville Playhouse.

“The whole weekend is a tribute to the arts,” says McCrary, “visual, performing and musical. We’re excited to bring the nostalgia of The Beatles to that. Additionally, it’s a great start to our 29th season of providing high quality entertainment and education opportunities to the Basin.”

Tickets to the event range from $19-29 before transaction fees.

The 2017-18 performance season is sponsored by KLAD, Big 98.5, Sunny 107, The Eagle, Forward Vision Media, Herald and News, The James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation and the Oregon Arts Commission. This show is sponsored by Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union and Main Street Jewelers and co-sponsored by Winema Electric & Woodland Lighting Design, Earl & Jane Liebich, Harold & Sally Heaton and Joan Staunton.
