After a year in hibernation, Ask Klamath returns with Valeree Lane the Public Information Officer for Klamath County Public Health as our guest on Episode #65.

About Valeree Lane
Valeree Lane is currently the public information officer for Klamath County Public Health. She brings to the position a background in both marketing and journalism. Prior to this, she worked in positions such as Director of Public Affairs at Oregon Institute of Technology and various positions at the Herald and News.

Lane has also served as the area manager for the SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) early literacy program and the development officer for the Klamath-Lake Child Abuse Response and Evaluation clinic.

She is the author of four books and her professional work has gained honors and critical praise from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association, and the American Press Institute.

Lane is an active member of Linkville Kiwanis and a life member of the Klamath County Historical Society.
