Cancer awareness event and memorial this weekend
/The 4th annual Chris Brown Freedom Memorial for cancer awareness will be held Friday and Saturday August 23-24, 2019 at the solar pavilion located at Steen Sports Park (4500 Foothills Blvd., Klamath Falls, Oregon).
Activities will start at 5:00 PM Friday night with Cancer Survivor and Awareness night. Those attending will be able to speak with others about their battle with cancer along with the family members who stand with them.
Saturday will include a full day of activities starting with the Motorcycle Poker Run, registration will begin at 8:00 AM with kickstands up at 10:00 AM. Added this year will be a 5k poker walk/run with card stops around the Steen Park fitness trail, start time is 11:00 AM.
Participation is $20 for motorcycle run & $20 for fitness walk/run. A 50/50 split will be awarded to the poker hand winners and Chris’s Causes
The event is presented by the Klamath Freedom Celebration and includes: DJ music, kidsland, vendors, beer garden, a large auction, and raffle. 100% of net proceeds will go to our local Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment in Chris Browns name.
