Benjamin Franklin is known for many things, including a quote, “…but in this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” I agree with Mr. Franklin, but another thing to consider is that “change is inevitable.”

Many changes have come to my personal life over the last year. Over the holiday, I have had a chance to reflect on those changes and what is most important to me, my family, and my company.

Flashback to August of 2017, when a younger version of myself is offered an opportunity to develop a concept into a full-fledged business solution – a fully digital, local, independent news brand. This brand would go toe-to-toe with the big boys, ultimately eclipsing them in numbers and reach.

Today marks the next chapter of that evolution. I am ready to step back and allow a new entrepreneur an opportunity to take this trusted brand to the next level.

That said, I am officially announcing the sale of Klamath Falls News and its family of brands.

In the meantime, changes loom on the horizon, and I will continue to operate the brand as available.
