Commissioners declare a State of Emergency

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Klamath County Commissioners declared a State of Emergency for Klamath County at Tuesday’s weekly business meeting. This allows for the county to become eligible for state and federal aid, resources, and monies to address the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Wednesday morning, Klamath County has one reported COVID-19 case and 65 cases throughout the State of Oregon.

The State of Emergency is expected to last until May 12.
