Commissioners to Appoint Three to Fair Board

Klamath Falls, Ore. - At the next Klamath County Board of Commissioners Business Meeting on Tuesday, February 5, the Commissioners are expected to fill three vacancies on the Klamath County Fair Board by appointing Terry Sellars, Brian Gailey and Victoria Haley.

Four applicants put in for the three vacant positions.

Two of the appointees, Terry Sellars and Brian Gailey are new to the Fair Board. Victoria Haley is the Board Vice-Chair, re-appointed into her second term.

The Fair Board is comprised of seven local volunteers appointed by the Commissioners, to provide guidance and direction of the management team, and support the mission of the Klamath County Fairgrounds.

Sellars, Gailey and Haley will join existing board members; Board Chair Gregg Sherrill, Edith Brown-Vieyra, Shawn Blodgett, and Jeanne Pickens. The appointees will begin their term February 5, 2019, be sworn in at the February Fair Board meeting, and will hold positions continuing until December 31, 2021. Fair Board members can serve up to three, 3-year terms.

Sellars is the Parks Supervisor for the City of Klamath Falls. Sellars coordinates events in the various parks, oversees maintenance and care for the parks along with the trail systems.

Gailey is the Owner and Publisher of Klamath Falls News. Gailey is serving his fourth year as board member of the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce.

Haley is owner of Vividly Consulting LLC, and Vice President of Pacific Northwest Hotel Management. Haley is also a board member and past president for the Rotary Club of Klamath County.
