County hires Noble as new Planning Director

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Klamath County is pleased to announce the hiring of Erik Noble as the new Planning Director in the Community Development Department following the retirement of the previous Planning Director, Mark Gallagher.

Many citizens of Klamath County have already benefited from Erik’s presence in the Planning Department as he joined the team in September of 2018 as a Planner III employee.  Erik grew up in Klamath Falls, attending Henley schools for all of his primary education. Erik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rangeland Science from Oregon State University and previously worked for Klamath County Planning from 1995 to 2001 as an Associate before joining the City of Klamath Falls in their Planning Department.

Erik, along with Libby Gallagher, permit technician, plan to continue providing exceptional customer service to the citizens of Klamath County. Erik emphasizes that citizens are welcome to visit the Planning Department to learn more about the land and property rights of Klamath County.

“Erik has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, we are pleased to be working with him as Klamath continues to grow,” says Commissioner Boyd.
