KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The 2021 Kruise of Klamath will look a bit different this year than it has previously, thanks to the drought and lack of irrigation water. Kruise officials are moving the Saturday show and shine away from Moore Park and onto Main Street between 3rd and 11th streets in Klamath Falls as the park grass will be too dry to park on.

“Klamath Falls is experiencing an exceptionally dry year. As a result, Moore Park (normally the site of our Saturday show ‘n shine) will not be receiving irrigation water and the grass will be too dry for us to park cars on,” said Officials from the Kruise of Klamath.

Kruise Officials added, “We will instead be holding our show 'n shine on Main Street Saturday morning followed by mini-shows at various locations around town in the afternoon. The evening cruise downtown Saturday night is still planned as scheduled.”

On Saturday, June 26 starting at 7:00 AM, Main Street in Downtown Klamath Falls will be closed to normal traffic between 3rd and 11th streets. The road is expected to reopen for a short time after vehicles exit the show and shine and before the evening Kruise.

Registrants will enter the show and shine at 11th and Main and will be parked in order of arrival (rather than by class) starting at 3rd street. Registrants are asked to arrive between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM for show and shine parking. Late registration will be available on a limited first-come-first-served basis.

The show and shine will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 26.

Visitors and registrants alike will be able to admire the vehicles along with enjoying music, food vendors, the Klamath Falls Farmers Market, as well as savor fare and purchase wares from downtown restaurants & merchants.

Mid-day, after the main show and shine, a series of mini-shows will be scattered throughout Klamath Falls. Locations include Coldwell Banker, 3815 S. 6th Street; the KCC Automotive Shop, 7390 S. 6th Street; and at the Upper Deck Restaurant, 3000 Airport Way.

Saturday evening’s Kruise is scheduled to run from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and will circle downtown on Main and Klamath.

All events are open to the public.
