The annual Oregon Tech Easter Egg Scramble was held today (3/31/18) on the field of John F. Mohel Stadium where 783 kids and their family members dashed for the colorful treasures.

The scramble has become tradition at Oregon Tech organized by the Residence Hall. For over a week, students packaged individual wrapped candies inside 16,000+ eggs for the scramble and in mere seconds it was over.

Kids were separated into four areas by age group; 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.

"It went by quick which we always kind-of expect," said Francisco Lopez, President of the Residence Hall Association and organizer of the scramble. "The process of putting this together took a few weeks. It is nice to see the outcome."

Lopez continued, "Some of the parents here are students, so it was nice to see their faces."

Canned food donations, toothbrushes and cash donations for the Food Bank were gathered at the gate prior to participants entering.
