KCSD Scheduled kindergarten roundup events

Will your child be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1? If so, it’s time to register for kindergarten. Klamath County School District elementary schools have scheduled kindergarten roundup dates in May to welcome new kindergarteners and provide a chance for parents to register their child for the 2023-24 school year.

If you have any questions please contact the school your child will be attending. Remember to bring immunization records and your student’s birth certificate.

Peterson Elementary had its roundup on April 27. If you miss your school’s roundup date, you can still register your child by calling the school or visiting the district website at www.kcsd.k12.or.us.   • Keno Elementary: 5-5:30 p.m., May 2

  • Henley Elementary: 9-10 a.m., May 3

  • Stearns Elementary: 1-2 p.m., May 4

  • Ferguson Elementary: 5-6:30 p.m. May 4

  • Bonanza Elementary: 2-3 p.m. May 11

  • Shasta Elementary: 4:4:45 p.m., May 11

  • Gilchrist Elementary: 10 a.m. to noon, May 17

  • Malin Elementary: 9:30-10:30 a.m., May 18

  • Chiloquin Elementary: 5-5:30 p.m. May 18

  • Merrill Elementary: 9:30-10:30 a.m., May 23

  • Gearhart Elementary: 4:30-5 p.m., May 24
