Klamath Falls Community Band to perform Independence Day concert at Veterans Park

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Klamath Falls Community Band will perform an Independence Day concert in Veterans Memorial Park on Monday, July 4th at about 11:00 AM, immediately following the downtown parade.

The band will set up in front of the train display where there is plenty of shade for everyone.

Attendees will hear traditional marches, folk songs, and other pieces of Americana representing and celebrating our Independence Day. The concert will include a special arrangement of the Armed Forces Salute, as well as the quintessential performance of John Philip Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever.” Admission to the open-air concert is FREE, with donations encouraged.

The community band, under the direction of Mazama High School Music Director Rob Izzett, was formed in 2015 and features local musicians from many walks of life. The band is a 501 (c)(3) public charity, and donations to the Klamath Falls Community Band are tax deductible.

Head to the park after the parade and join the band for an hour-long musical celebration!
