Klamath Symphony Orchestra to perform 'Together We Stand'

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Klamath Symphony Orchestra will present a very eclectic night of music on Saturday, May 7 at 7:30 PM. This concert will be made up of music across a broad variety of cultures around the world—each piece chosen to represent a unifying message of ‘We The People’.

Directed by Chris Benjamin, ‘Together We Stand’ will include music selections from African American, Native American, Eastern European, and Hispanic roots. Traditional American folk music will also be included. With a diverse range of music featured, Benjamin will integrate all songs into a unified celebration of the love, peace, and beauty of the world.

The Klamath Symphony Orchestra is an organization of voluntary musicians which allows each musician to develop their musical talents and gives the space to enjoy making music together. Live concerts are frequently performed to enrich the lives of our community. The KSO also focuses on educational outreach opportunities for current and future musicians, as well as any audience that wishes to enrich their lives through live music.

Included special guest performers this evening will be the ‘No Strings Attached’ Woodwind Quartet. Each musician and instrument in ‘Together We Stand’ will celebrate and represent the harmony and diversity of music and the unifying message of ‘Together we stand…divided we fall’.
