Lakeview man dies in rollover crash on Highway 31

The following is a press release from the Oregon State Police.

LAKE COUNTY, Ore. - On Thursday, January 28, 2021, at approximately 8:40 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single-vehicle crash on Oregon Highway 31 (Fremont Highway) near milepost 33.

Preliminary investigation revealed a Dodge Dakota, operated by Kenneth Wolfe III (55) of Lakeview, was southbound when it lost control on icy roads, left the roadway, and rolled.

Wolfe III sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The Oregon State Police was assisted by the Lake County Sheriff's Office, EMS, and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
