It did not take long for the first baby of 2018 to arrive. It was just 4:20 AM, New Years Day when baby Jakoby made his grand entrance at Sky Lakes Medical Center, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Parents Araceli and Pako Sevilla are just shocked that they had the first child born in Klamath County for 2018.

“I did not think I was going to be the first,” stated Araceli, “Until they told me, like nope you’re the first one here.“

When asked about his thoughts on being the father of the first child born in 2018, Pako stated, “I never thought this, it just happened.”

Jakoby, weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces, 20 inches long and a head circumference of 13.5 inches. Born at 4:20 AM, Jakoby is the fourth son of parents Araceli and Pako. Their other children are Jason (8), Bryan (7), and Andrew (4).

Mother and baby are doing well. The Sevilla Family is very happy, pleased and relaxing as Araceli recovers and Jakoby sleeps.
