The following is a press release from Klamath County Public Health

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Klamath County Public Health (KCPH) officials have announced three different vaccine-related events in the county next week.

First will be a vaccination and booster event in Crescent 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, December 10. The clinic will be held at the Crescent Community Club, 420 Crescent Cutoff Rd, Crescent, OR 97733. No appointments will be made as people can walk-in for service. All three COVID-19 vaccines and flu vaccine will available.

“We are pleased to return to Crescent for the booster vaccine event,” said KCPH Director Jennifer Little. “For those who have not yet been vaccinated, we welcome their attendance, too. Our responsibility for service includes the entire county and we’ve enjoyed getting to know our neighbors to the north.”

Saturday, December 11, will be a COVID-19 vaccine information event from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bonanza High School. Those interested in being vaccinated will have the opportunity to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Finally, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 12, another information event will be held at Malin’s Way Station.

“We heard from the Bonanza and Malin communities that there was interest in having more information about vaccination. We are working with bilingual partners to offer information and answers to questions people might have,” said Little.

Free food boxes, hats, gloves, socks and sweatshirts will be available at all three events.

A movie will be shown at the Bonanza and Malin gatherings.
