Starting at the beginning of Oregon's 2021 legislative session, all committee meetings are now being held virtually. Therefore testifying in person has changed.

The link, and PDF, below provide instructions on how to submit written testimony to a committee, as well as, how to give live, remote testimony on a specific bill during a public hearing.

How To Remotely Testify

“It is important that people are directly involved in the legislative process,” said Rep. E. Werner Reschke (R-Klamath Falls). “People located far away from Salem have previously asked for the ability to remotely testimony. Now we have it. Unfortunately, our goal was to add remote-testimony to in-person testimony. This session focuses on a more permanent shift to remote methods. Nevertheless, “We the People” can still be directly involved — through written and remote testimony.”
