SALEM, Ore. - State Representative E. Werner Reschke (R-Klamath Falls) announces funding for Boivin Hall Improvements at Oregon Tech.

“I am proud to secure funding for needed improvements to Boivin Hall at Oregon Tech. This over $1 million project will bring critical structural and seismic upgrades to the building, as well as bring employment to Klamath Falls during a time of economic uncertainty.”

Boivin Hall is in need of critical life/safety upgrades, ADA compliance, structural and seismic retrofitting, and classroom/lab rehabilitation.

The support from the Oregon Legislature will fund needed repairs and upgrades to the building, which serves as a core teaching and learning space, houses student support services and is the backbone of the university’s Information Technology infrastructure.

Oregon Tech has one of the lowest capital footprints to student ratios of any public university in the state — and high demand on unique lab space aligned with its polytechnic mission and enrollment growth — makes this project vitally important to the institution and the community.
