CRATER LAKE, Ore. - The fire danger level within Crater Lake National Park has dropped from high to moderate due to recent moisture and predicted cooler temperatures. Effective October 21, 2020, at 12:01 am, Crater Lake National Park rescinded the fire restrictions implemented on July 31, 2020, and the fire ban implemented on September 8, 2020.
