KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Friends of the Children of the Klamath Basin invites the community to its annual fundraising program and auction, called Friend Raiser, Thursday, May 27, at 6:30 p.m. The event is presented by Lithia Ford of Klamath Falls.

More than 600 community guests attended the event that raised about 30 percent of the annual operating budget for the mentoring program. Friends of the Children provides intentional oneon-one support for program youth from a salaried, professional mentor, from
kindergarten through high school graduation – 12 ½ years, no matter what.
Ten awards were presented at the 97th Annual Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala. The awards are given during a special ceremony held at the Ross Ragland Theater where the recipients are honored. Below are the presentations and speeches from those awards.
