Tulelake, Calif. - Beginning the week of My 7th through July 2nd, Lava Beds National Monument will begin a pavement preservation project with the Department of Transportation. The Lava Beds National Monument roadway improvements are part of a 3.9 million dollar federally funded project to improve accessibility, safety, and visitor experience withing our National Parks.

Klamath County Public Works will be working on the following major work items the week of May 14 (Monday through Thursday): Grinding asphalt from two bridges on Stateline Road between Gaines Road and Highway 39. Asphalt patching on Stateline Road starting at Hatfield and continuing 2 miles east of Highway 39.
