Friends of the Children, a national nonprofit that selects the most vulnerable children and pairs them with a salaried, professional mentor—called a Friend—for 12 ½ years, is holding their annual Potato Sale Fundraiser. Because helping kids is “no small potatoes,” Friends has available 20 pound boxes of Yukon Gold potatoes for $20 until all 500 boxes are sold.
