Are you ready to carve up some trails? Now is the time and most of the area parks are open. Up on Mt Bachelor, skiers and boarders enjoyed power turns all day. Mt Ashland is sold out on lift tickets through Monday. Visitors to Mt Shasta were greeted by 10 inches of fresh snow on top of the 5 inches of machined snow.

Welcome to winter, get those boards and skis ready Mt. Bachelor and Timberline are already open. Mt. Ashland and Mt. Shasta are set to open next December 13 and 14 respectively.

Ski Season keeps looking better. Many of the area resorts are experiencing the highest snow depths in years. Several including Mt Ashland has already announced that the ski season will continue into April. Check out the latest conditions from Mt Ashland, Mt Bachelor and Mt Shasta below.

It does not get much better than this on the mountains. All ski areas are reporting blue sky and fantastic weather on the mountain today before more snow is forecast to arrive over the weekend. Snow totals are looking rather impressive too:

Recent storms have added several inches of fresh power to local ski resorts. All resorts and parks are fully operational and offer special activities this weekend. Mt Ashlans has issued a Power Alert for Friday and will be hosting the annual Bavarian Night on Saturday.

Mid-winter is looking great for area ski resorts. All are open, all are showing excellent snow pack, and all are expected to get much more snow from a storm this weekend.

What better way to spend an afternoon than on the mountain. All area ski resorts are open and reporting spring like conditions. Mt. Ashland 5/5 lifts, Mt. Bachelor 9/11 lifts, Mt. Shasta 4/4 lifts, Willamette Pass 4/5 lifts and Cedar Pass plus Warner Canyon are open too.

Ski season is in full swing area ski resorts are open and the snow is looking good - over 100 inches reported at the upper section of Mt. Shasta at 6889 feet. More snow is expected at area parks this weekend. Ski resorts are now running their extras too - tubing hills, night skiing, sled dog rides, snowshoe tours, heli skiing and more.

Snow has been good for area ski resorts this season. Warner Canyon, Mt Ashland, Mt Bachelor, Mt Shasta and Willamette Pass are all open and are running 85% of their available lifts with an average of 36 inches of snow. Mt Bachelor is leading the with a base of 68 inches of snow. No area parks report fresh snow in the last 24 hours.
