Read MoreAre you ready to carve up some trails? Now is the time and most of the area parks are open. Up on Mt Bachelor, skiers and boarders enjoyed power turns all day. Mt Ashland is sold out on lift tickets through Monday. Visitors to Mt Shasta were greeted by 10 inches of fresh snow on top of the 5 inches of machined snow.
Read MoreWelcome to winter, get those boards and skis ready Mt. Bachelor and Timberline are already open. Mt. Ashland and Mt. Shasta are set to open next December 13 and 14 respectively.

Read MoreRecent storms have added several inches of fresh power to local ski resorts. All resorts and parks are fully operational and offer special activities this weekend. Mt Ashlans has issued a Power Alert for Friday and will be hosting the annual Bavarian Night on Saturday.

Read MoreWhat better way to spend an afternoon than on the mountain. All area ski resorts are open and reporting spring like conditions. Mt. Ashland 5/5 lifts, Mt. Bachelor 9/11 lifts, Mt. Shasta 4/4 lifts, Willamette Pass 4/5 lifts and Cedar Pass plus Warner Canyon are open too.

More snow is expected at area parks this weekend. Ski resorts are now running their extras too - tubing hills, night skiing, sled dog rides, snowshoe tours, heli skiing and more.

Mt Bachelor is leading the with a base of 68 inches of snow. No area parks report fresh snow in the last 24 hours.
