About 60 FFA students from four high schools – Henley, Lost River, Bonanza, and Prospect – gathered Wednesday (Sept. 25) on fallowed alfalfa fields at Mockridge Farms near Bonanza to compete in the annual Bonanza FFA Soils Invitational, a practice contest held a week before the Southern Oregon District Soils Evaluation CDE scheduled for Oct. 2 in Lakeview.
