Tingley Lane Transfer Station to reopen June 1

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Klamath County Board of Commissioners has announced the Tingley Lane Transfer Station will reopen on June 1, 2023, at 8:00 AM.  

Following a catastrophic fire at the Transfer Station, on May 16, 2021, all Transfer Station services through Rogue Klamath Transfer were moved to a temporary site at the County landfill while the Transfer Station was rebuilt.  

The Board of Commissioners would like to thank the public for their patience through the rebuilding process; and thank all County and Rogue Klamath Transfer staff for their diligence and hard work to ensure the Transfer Station rebuild was completed quickly and efficiently while services continued uninterrupted to our citizens.  

“Thank you to Bogatay Construction for their tremendous work rebuilding our Transfer Station and restoring this essential infrastructure,” said Commissioner Derrick DeGroot.

The Board of Commissioners will host a Grand Opening ribbon cutting at the Transfer Station, 4005 Tingley Lane, on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 1:30 PM.  

On May 31, 2023, the Rogue Klamath Transfer Station services will move from the County landfill back to the Tingley Lane Transfer Station.  

The Tingley Lane Transfer Station will be open starting June 1, 2023, Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
