KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Multnomah University (0-15, 0-10 CCC) defense struggled to keep up as Oregon Tech (9-4-2, 6-4-0 CCC) offense kicked into gear on Friday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field, with the combination leading to a 9-0 Cascade Conference win for Tech.

"I am glad the boys were able to remember that they are good at scoring goals today," said Head Coach Brandon POrter. "It was a solid performance and now we can shift our focus to senior day vs. Warner Pacific and trying to earn our spot in the conference tournament." he added.

Freshman John Sarna kicked things off with a goal in the 7th minute, shooting from inside the box to the bottom right to score with an assist from sophomore Jake Mitchell.

Sarna was followed by senior Brennan Gazdik, who scored with an assist from senior Cade Roske. Sophomore Anthony Santillan earned the third goal with a shot to the bottom right corner assisted by sophomore Kyle Sanchez.

Junior Noah Pham earned the final first period goal with an assist from freshman Cade O'Neil.

The Owls earned another point in the second period as the Lions accidentally knocked one into their own goal.

This was followed by four more Tech goals, including goals from senior Lucas Hale, freshman Brock Rideout, Santillan and sophomore Jack Warner, who was assisted by O'Neil.

By the end of the game, the Hustlin' Owls had shot 20-of-37 on goal, while holding Multnomah to only two shots. Keanu Srivongsana added eight of those shots, shooting four on target. Warner shot 2-of-6 on target, O'Neil 2-of-5, Santillan 3-of-4, Pham 1-of-3, and Sarna 2-of-3.

Goalkeeper Jose David Lopez earned 10 saves for the Lions over the course of the game.

The Hustlin' Owls will remain in Klamath Falls to challenge Warner Pacific University tomorrow at the OIT Soccer Field at 2:30pm before heading to Washington to take on Northwest University and the Evergreen State College on November 1st and 2nd.
