KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Amanda Seward scored twice off assists from Salyna Blue in the first 25 minutes as Oregon Tech (10-2-3, 7-0-2 CCC) scored a 4-0 Cascade Conference win over Multnomah University (1-11, 0-9 CCC) Friday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field.

"The ladies were able to exert their will and take command early," said Head Coach Brandon Porter. "We are happy that they played a solid game and that we were able to play a lot of our bench. Now we need to remain focused for tomorrow's game against Warner Pacific. It will certainly be an emotional final home game for our seniors, but they need to put those emotions aside and continue to defend our home field."

Both of Seward's goals came in the first half with a put-back for goal in the 12th minute followed by a perfect cross to score in the lower right in the 25th.

Freshman Nyah Kendall added another score for the Owls later in the half, dribbling past a defender to score just out of the reach of the diving goalkeeper. Sophomore Lily Lavine landed the final goal in the 80th minute off a chip cross from freshman Shaylee Lutz.

With her two goals today, Seward advances to eight total goals on the season. Goalie Jenna Stiehr earned her 11th shutout of the season and 4th consecutive shutout with a single save in the game.

Jodi Byers made both of the Lion's shots in the game – including one on goal – and Multnomah goalkeeper Trisha Priest earned 12 saves over the course of the game.

Freshman Maddie Miller shot 2-of-5 on goal in the game, contributing to the Owls' 28 total shots. Kendall followed with 3-of-4, Seward shot 3-of-3, and junior Kyra Mull was 2-of-3.

The Lady Owls will remain in Klamath Falls to challenge Warner Pacific University on Saturday at 12:00pm at the OIT Soccer Field before travelling to Washington to take on Northwest University and the Evergreen State College on November 1st and 2nd.
