Klamath Falls News’ coverage of the Klamath County Fair is brought to you by Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union and the Klamath County Fairgrounds.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Once again, the Klamath County Fairgrounds was full of smiling faces and joyous laughter as guests were able to fully attend the Klamath County Fair for the first time in two years. They consumed delicious fair food, played esports, conquered an escape room, rode carnival rides, and witnessed the showing of prize-winning animals & crafts. The best part, the fair is just getting started.

It has been over 730 days since the last time the fairgrounds hosted a full and complete county fair.

Sadly, in 2020, due to the events of the pandemic year, the fair was scaled back to only include the Junior Livestock Show and Auction. It was a record-breaking auction with nearly $1 million in sales. Yet, something was missing, the fun and festive atmosphere of the fair.

Several months ago in early spring, the Klamath County Fair Board, fairground staff, Klamath County 4-H, and many volunteers proudly proclaimed to bring back a full fair celebration to Klamath County. By the looks of things over the first day - they succeeded.

As the first day wraps, crews are already working to get day two of the Klamath County Fair ready.

On Friday, August 6, fair festivities continue by showcasing the best of what Klamath County has to offer.

All-day long 4-H and FFA members will be showing throughout the grounds.

Free entertainment from Hart Keene, Racyne Parker, Skip Banks, and Jessica Lynn Witty will perform on the KLAD Main Stage. The talents of Barnyard Bash, Vikki Green, and Jeremy the Juggler will be showcased on the Lawn Stage. Headlining Friday night, 90’s Grunge rockers Everclear will perform their iconic hits in the Event Center at 7:30 PM - followed by Fat Sexy in the Catch Pen ‘till midnight.
