Klamath Falls man dies in crash on Highway 97

The following is a press release from the Oregon State Police.

CHILOQUIN, Ore. - On Friday, February 5, 2021, at approximately 4:30 PM, Troopers from the Oregon State Police and emergency personnel from Chiloquin Fire & Rescue responded to a single-vehicle crash on US Highway 97 near milepost 256 [near Modoc Point Road].

Preliminary investigation by OSP revealed a BMW, operated by Justin Brennan, aged 24, of Klamath Falls, was southbound when the vehicle crossed the northbound lane, left the roadway, and struck a tree. 

Brennan sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Oregon State Police was assisted by Chiloquin Fire & Rescue and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
