Klamath Tribes confirm COVID-19 case at Tribal Administration Offices

CHILOQUIN, Ore. - Today, the Klamath Tribes takes further action on coronavirus (COVID-19) readiness and precaution, and have closed their Tribal Administration offices at 501 Chiloquin Blvd, in Chiloquin, Oregon, until Monday, September 21, 2020, due to a confirmed case.

During the past several months, the Klamath Tribes have taken extra steps and have closed other facilities periodically to protect the health and safety of tribal members and the public.

The Klamath Tribal Council remains diligent and will continue to be proactively working with our Emergency Management Team, and will do everything necessary to protect the community while still continuing to provide services to our tribal members. *Through the closure, essential services will still be provided.

Please continue to follow all COVID-19 safety precautions that are set in place: Limit your attendance at any gathering larger than 10 people, wear face coverings over your nose and mouth, stay at least six feet away from others, wash or sanitize your hands.

Monitor yourself for any COVID-19 symptoms: Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea, Vomiting and/or Diarrhea.
