Reschke Suggests Klamath County as ideal location for Federal Courthouse

SALEM, Ore. - Today, Representative E. Werner Reschke (R-Klamath Falls) supported Rep. Mike Nearman (R-Independence) in his calling on President Donald Trump close the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse for the Oregon District located in Portland. Reschke suggests that Klamath County would also make an ideal location for a new courthouse.

“We have watched for nearly two months as violent protests rock downtown Portland, endangering Oregonians, law enforcement officers, and the federal courthouse. Klamath County would be a great place for federal officials to administer justice in a safe and welcoming environment.”
