Klamath Falls, OR - The Ross Ragland Theater Board of Directors is excited to announce their search for a permanent Executive Director.

The Ross Ragland Theater and Cultural Center (RRT) is the only year-round, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary arts center in a large geographical area and annually serves over 40,000 residents and visitors. The RRT is also the only professionally-staffed performing arts center in south-central Oregon, and enjoys extraordinary community support. In addition to producing and presenting its own programs, the Ragland is a community center that annually hosts over 400 arts, cultural and community activities and events.

The RRT provides world-class performing arts and educational experiences that enhance community life in the Klamath Basin. As both a presenting and producing organization, RRT:

  1. Presents national and international touring artists to the community through its mainstage series,

  2. Produces performances featuring local talent in its auditorium and Cultural Center studio space,

  3. Presents art house and classic movies as well as cinema events,

  4. Partners with other community groups for cultural and economic development, and

  5. Offers comprehensive arts education programs for Pre-K through 12th grade, providing over 20,000 contact experiences for children in the Klamath Basin in partnership with the local school districts.

The Executive Director is charged with overseeing all operations of the Theater. Supported by a dedicated eight-member staff, the Director acts as liaison to the board, supervises financial and fundraising systems and officially represents the Theater to the community. The Executive Director, in collaboration with a volunteer committee, is responsible for all programming of the theater.
