Kids and their parents can learn to make ravioli from a professional chef at Running Y Ranch Resort’s first ever Kids Cooking Class on July 27th, 2019. Following the success of their winter Cooking Demonstrations, Running Y Ranch Resort has decided to get local children involved in cooking by holding a summer Kids Cooking Class.

The class will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 27th and will be approximately two and a half hour long. Each child that attends the class will receive an apron and ravioli wheel that is theirs to take home. The event will include a class on making ravioli as well as a ravioli lunch for kids and their parents that will be prepared by our professional chefs. The lunch will include ravioli, Italian salad, garlic bread and tiramisu.

“Our Kids Cooking Class is a great opportunity to introduce children to the culinary arts,” states Matthew Renshaw, Executive Chef. “Introducing children to cooking at younger ages will help them learn not only basic cooking skills but also to be more comfortable trying new recipes. We are excited to be able to assist in introducing children to the culinary arts, and we aim to make this event fun and informative for all ages.”

The cost to attend the class is $30 for one child and one adult, $20 for an additional child, and $15 for an additional adult. Reservations are required, and space is limited. To make a reservation, contact Running Y Sales, Shellby Barrington at 541.850.5786.
