PAISLEY, Ore. - Most divisions on the Brattain Fire have been combined, and most tactical resources have been released to their home units or states or reassigned to other more critical incidents. The remaining divisions are focused heavily on patrolling and scouting additional repair work since mop-up operations are mostly complete.

PAISLEY, Ore. - Fire activity has been decreasing over the last few days on the Brattain Fire with additional decreased activity yesterday. Containment lines are holding well and only interior portions of the fire showing any activity. Mop up activities and line patrols remain a priority.

PAISLEY, Ore. - The Brattain Fire in Lake County near Paisley has now grown to 50,409 acres. However, fire crews have been able to secure containment at 49%. This is thanks to firelines in all areas of the fire holding well.

PAISLEY, Ore. - The most significant growth on the Braittain Fire continues to be on the northwest perimeter - with active movement north and west overnight. 3 dozers, numerous engines, and 1 hotshot crew were dispatched to this area on a night shift.

PAISLEY, Ore. - Now at 30,000 acres the Brattain Fire continues to grow an a astonishing rate with zero containment. A Type-2 Fire Management Team is transitioning into command of the fire today allowing for more resources to be assigned to the fire.

PAISLEY, Ore. - The Brattain Fire has grown in the last 24-hours from 8,000 acres to 20,000 with zero containment. The fast growth of the fire is due to gusty erratic winds causing numerous slop-overs and spot fires. Similar conditions are expected tomorrow.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Level 3 “Go” evacuation notice for the Brattain Fire Southwest of Paisley. The Level 3 “Go” notice is for all residents of Paisley. From Red House Lane (north of Paisley), South on Highway 31 to Clover Flat Road onto Clover Flat Road to Forest Service Road 3510 (Moss Pass Road).
