CRATER LAKE, Ore. - Crater Lake Hospitality, a subsidiary of Aramark Destinations, plans to resume its popular boat tours this summer with three new 41-foot aluminum alloy boats. Due to the steep terrain to access the lake, the boats were delivered by helicopter on Monday, June 26. The new boats were created in partnership with Oregon based marine designer, Katanacraft, and each boat was created specifically with safety, the local environment, and the visitor experience in mind.

27 Year old male drowns at Cleetwood Cove [UPDATED]

UPDATE: Officials from Crater Lake National Park have identified the 27 year old male that drowned at Cleetwood Cove on Sunday.

Crater Lake, Ore. – At approximately 4:40 PM on Sunday, August 18th, the park received a call that a 27 year old male had jumped off a small rock cliff at Cleetwood Cove but had not resurfaced.

People on scene immediately threw out a life ring and staff from the Crater Lake Hospitality park boat tour operation went to the area in a small boat to help with the search. Park staff mobilized quickly and responded to the location, over one mile down the Cleetwood Trail.

Crater Lake Hospitality Announces New Winter Hours

Crater Lake, OR – Crater Lake Hospitality announced today that it will resume operations at the Rim Village Café and Gift Shop on Saturday, February 2, 2019.  The Rim Café has been closed since December 23, 2018 when winter weather required the closure of park roads during the recent lapse in appropriations.  Crater Lake National Park has now resumed normal operations and the road to Rim Village has reopened.

New Concessioner at Crater Lake Starting Fall 2018

The National Park Service today announced the selection of Crater Lake Hospitality, LLC, a subsidiary of Aramark, to operate visitor services at Crater Lake National Park and Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve. The concessioner will operate lodging, a campground, boat tours, food service, and retail at Crater Lake and operate a lodge, food service, and retail at Oregon Caves.
