CRATER LAKE, OR - Beginning Sunday, January 1, 2023, Crater Lake National Park will transition to a fully cashless fee system and only accept mobile or electronic payments for entrance and permit fees.

Snow over the weekend and snow forecasted for later this week have led to an early closure. The park will attempt to keep West Rim Drive open to Discovery Point until the hard closure date of November 1st, but it will be closed sooner if conditions warrant.
